  1. Danger : Prior to approaching the casualty visually check the area for.
  2. Response : Use the ‘AVPU’ scale when checking for this.
  3. Defibrillation: This should be used alongside CPR.
  4. Airway: We need to open this to check for breathing.
  5. Breathing: We need to check for no more than 10 seconds for this.
  6. Call 999/Circulation :  If not breathing commence.
